Trail system presentation scheduled

A presentation on the Community Trail System will be made at the Boetcher Lodge located in Pineway Ponds Park. Representatives from Victor Hiking Trails, the Genesee Transportation Council and the Genesee Region Trails Coalition will present their current trail systems, how they got started and discuss regional trail conductivity in the area.

This informational meeting is an opportunity for the community to learn and see what others are doing in the area of trail system development. The presenters will discuss the pros and cons of their trail systems as well as some of the obstacles they had to overcome in order to establish a system.

Following the presentation, there will be an opportunity for open discussion. The meeting is open to the public and is scheduled for Thursday, May 26 at 7 p.m.
