Cadets seniors lead the way

Hilton won three of four singles matches and two of the three doubles matches in a 5-2 victory over Gates-Chili in high school boy's tennis.

Senior Jeff Klotebach won at second singles 6-4, 6-4 while sophomore Kasay Murray had little trouble in a 6-2, 6-2 win at third singles. Frankie Orlando overcame an opening set loss to win the second set 6-4 and the clincher in overtime 7-6 at fourth singles.

The Cadets also used their depth and experience in the doubles matches with seniors Eric Kukura and Shane Gelatiu taking their second doubles match 7-5, 7-4 and seniors Kyle Avery and Brian Hunte winning at third doubles 6-4, 6-2.

Hilton improved to 2-8 overall and 1-4 in league.
