high ranks

Mark Caparco has been teaching traditional Japanese martial arts for more than 25 years, and holds the distinction of being a kyoshi, an exclusive honor in the world of the martial arts.

His son, Daniel, began training with his father at the age of three when he would participate in classes at his father's karate school. On May 7 Caparco Martial Arts held their annual competition day. After years of dedication and hard work, in front of 30 Black Belts, five Masters and his students, Kyoshi Caparco was ranked to eighth degree Hachidan Black Belt and his son, Daniel, was promoted to fourth degree Master Black Belt. The Caparcos run their school on Chili Avenue.
