BOCES New Visions Police program has new graduates

Three graduates of the Monroe 2-Orleans BOCES New Visions program recently graduated from the Police Basic Recruit Class #43 and are now members of the Monroe County Office of the Sheriff. The new Deputies (l-r) Ryan Parina and Jeffery Phillips, who both graduated from Greece School District and Joshua DeRuyter, who graduated from Spencerport High School, were students in the New Visions Justice Professions program. They are pictured with Sheriff Patrick O'Flynn (left) and Justice Professions Teacher Marc Ouzer. New Visions allows high school seniors to explore professional career interests, while accruing high school and college credits. Submitted photo.
