Six Brockport A.D. Oliver Middle School students were honored during the Eighth Grade Awards Assembly on May 2. Grace Mendenhall and Matthew Jock received the Jeff Bell Award; Katelyn Barber and Justin Sodoma received the Ray Zaffuto Award; and Allison Toscano and Isaac Fraser received the Bill Hertweck Award. The Bell and Zaffuto award recipients were selected by the Middle School teaching staff, based on academic achievement, citizenship and involvement in school activities. The Hertweck Award recipients were selected by the Physical Education staff based on their willingness to help when needed, having a cheerful and cooperative attitude and good sportsmanship both in and out of PE class. |
