BOCES 2 students challenge themselves in Heavy Equipment Rodeo

Students in the Heavy Equipment Operation and Maintenance class at BOCES 2 Career and Technical Education Center participated in a Heavy Equipment Rodeo at the Pennsylvania College of Technology in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

The BOCES 2 Heavy Equipment Operation and Maintenance class placed second overall in the competition and individual students also placed. They are: Kevin Bleier (Hilton) second place excavator and loader; Jason Wolck (Greece) third place backhoe egg competition; Andrew Rheinwald (Spencerport) third place backhoe egg competition and David Howard (Brockport) second place backhoe egg competition. The backhoe egg competition challenges the students to pick up an egg with a spoon and place the egg in a cup without dropping it.
