Participants sought for canoe event

Community members are invited to enter the Spencerport Canal Days canoe event. The canoe event is for entertainment purposes and no experience is necessary. Participants are encouraged to decorate their canoes.

The following prices will be awarded: $100 for first place fastest canoe; $100 for most patriotic; $100 for most creative; and $100 for the judges choice award.

The race will be Sunday, July 31 at 1 p.m. The entry fee is $25. Organizations, businesses and individuals are invited to participate. This is a great way to get your group promoted to the community. For registration information or to borrow a canoe call 352-2124.
