Workshop on Medicare Part D program offered

An informational talk and workshop to decide who would benefit from the new Medicare Part D program will be presented by Tiffany Lawrie from the Social Security Administration, Monday, August 22 at 11:15 a.m. at the Sweden Senior Center, 133 State Street, Brockport. John Armbruster from Monroe County Department of Human and Health Services Office for the Aging will be explaining Epic and how that would work with the Medicare Part D.

Participants should bring statements that show account balances at banks, credit unions or other financial institutions, investment statements, life insurance policy statements (including their cash-in value); stock certificates; tax returns; pension award letters; and payroll slips.

Having this information available will make the process go faster. The forms used provide a worksheet to assist in completing the actual application.
