Photo contest time

Stephen Spindler opens up a window shutter to display a photo to Hilton Big M patrons. The display, created by Spindler, holds entry blanks for the Apple Fest Photo Contest. This year's theme is "Home Sweet Home" with any type of subject matter as long as the picture was taken in the Hilton-Parma area or other parts of western Monroe County. There are three categories of contestants: Adults, ages 19 and up; youths ages 13 to 19; and children ages 12 ad under. Deadline is September 26. Photographs can be left in the entry box or mailed to: P.O. Box 1, Hilton, NY 14468. Spindler is the son of Paul and Maureen Spindler; Maureen owns the Village Photographer and is a co-sponsor of this photo contest.
