Student helpers

Elementary students from Holley are helping the hurricane victims by reading and selling handmade friendship bracelets. Students are holding a Read-a-Thon on Thursday, October 6 by collecting pledges for reading after school that day. Students have a minimum pledge of $10 to participate and are supplementing their pledges by placing donation jugs in each classroom. All funds will be sent to the American Red Cross Hurricane Relief Fund. Holley fourth graders also created nearly 200 friendship bracelets to raise money. They sold the bracelets for 25 cents during lunch periods and raised $51.50 for the Red Cross. Fourth graders Elenna Bibby and Anthony Agugliano helped make friendship bracelets.
