•Emens, Homer A., September 26, 2005, age 90, peacefully at home in Roswell, New Mexico. Survived by his devoted wife of 59 years, Helen (Rixey); children, Thomas (Madlyn)Emens, Roxanne (Frank) Cocuzzi, James Emens, Soo Emens; grandchildren, James Jr., Andrea and Shawn Emens, Angela, Joanna and Frankie Cocuzzi, Brianna (Adam) Mendez; great-grandsons, Masin and Ethan; brother, Frank Emens; sister, Helen Jaworski; many nieces, nephews, cousins; and a multitude of friends. Predeceased by sisters, Eleanor Gunther, Lois Chapman, Norma Heffer. Homer was a veteran of WWII, a member of the Roswell and Gates Chili Rotary Club, a Paul Harris Fellow and was employed by Suburban Propane for 30 years.

Services were held October 8 at the Clifton Baptist Church, Clifton. Donations can be made to Camp Haccamo Foundation, P.O. Box 25177, Rochester 14625 or a charity of one's choice in his memory.


CHURCHVILLE

•Vogler, Sandra (Annis), September 16, 2005. After a long and courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by her son, Chad David. Survived by her husband of 33 years Donald; sons, Charles (Heather), Christopher (Kelly) and Michael Vogler; grandchildren Caleb and Morgan Vogler; parents James and Eleanor Annis; sister Carol (Wayne) Cowell; mother and father-in-law, Dorothy and Eugene Vogler; brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Cindy Vogler, Eugene and Kim Vogler, Larry and Margaret Vogler, Janice and Paul Hawkins, Rita and Bill Snyder; nephews, Jon, Adam, Eugene III, Joseph, Andrew, Benjamin Vogler, Scott Hawkins, Will Snyder, Bryan Cowell; nieces Erin Hawkins, Alexandria Vogler, Katie Snyder, Brenda Steinmetz; sisters and brothers of the "Heart" Patty and Robert Lippa, Maryanne and Richard Goole; nephews and nieces of the "Heart" Timothy and Andrew Goole, Robert Lippa Jr. and Debra Lippa; a host of many loving and caring friends. Sandy was employed for 30 years at St. Mary's Hospital and Park Ridge Hospital as a physical therapist.

A Funeral Mass was said September 21 at Holy Ghost Church. Interment Holy Ghost Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy can be directed to the American Cancer Society in her memory.


HILTON

Cusenz, Emma F., October 1, 2005, age 76. She is survived by her husband, Robert Cusenz Sr.; her children, Dr. Bruce (Linda) Cusenz, Patricia (Stephen) Simpson, Robert "Rob" Cusenz Jr. and Laurie Ann (BJ) Walsh; 10 grandchildren, Stephanie, Katelyn, Erinlyn, Andrea, Megan, Jillian, Michael, Nicholas, Ronald and Louis; two great grandchildren, Brittni and Jordan; brother-in-law, Ed (Georgeann) Cusenz; sister-in-law, Dorothea Montante; several nieces, nephews and many friends. Emma was an RBI graduate, Hilton Central School retiree and former member of Hilton FD Ladies Auxiliary.

Funeral Services were held October 4 at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Inc., Hilton. Interment, Parma Union Cemetery. Contributions can be made to S. Edelman - H. Gardner C.R.F. or Hilton Ambulance in her memory.


•Plummer, James H., October 2, 2005. Survived by his parents, Harold E. and Peggy M.; brother, John (Laurie) Plummer; sisters, Karen (Peter) Morse, Colleen (Charles) Hebing; several nieces and nephews; many great friends.

Services private. Interment held at the convenience of the family in Falls Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association in his memory.


Yeager, Ethel M., September 28, 2005, age 83. She was predeceased by her husband, Albert Yeager, August 28, 2005. She is survived by her children, Jack (Cheryl Englert) Yeager, Shauna (Mike Rath) Clay and Sylvia Yeager; five grandchildren Andrea and Matthew Yeager, Ashley and Justin Clay, Josh Cavanagh; five step-grandchildren.

HOLLEY

•Smiley, Richard, Ssg Ret. (Milazzo) (Hervey), 80, of Clarendon, formerly known as the Mayor of Thomas Estates West, died September 29, 2005, at the VA Hospital in Batavia. He retired from the military with 25 years of service. Served in WWII, Battle of the Bulge, Korean War and was a member of the VFW American Legion Battle of the Bulge. He has been issued the following medals, Bronze Star, 2 Purple Hearts, WWII Victory Medal, American Campaign, National Defense, Army Service, European African Middle Eastern Campaign with 4 Bronze Stars, Good Conduct with 4 Knots. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Barbara; two daughters, Karon (Charles) Milazzo of Henrietta, and Cyndy (Tim) Hervey of Hamlin; four grandchildren, Charles (Elizabeth) Milazzo, Joseph Milazzo, Hannibal and Hannah Hervey; four great-grandchildren, Alexis, Skyla, Dylan and Nathan; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services were held October 3 at the Fowler Funeral Home, Inc., Brockport. Interment, Arlington National Cemetery. Donations can be made to the Hospice of Orleans County or the Holley American Legion in his memory.


KENDALL

•Robb, George E., age 65, died September 30, 2005 at Lakeside Memorial Hospital. He was born on August 20, 1940 in Hamlin, NY to Edgar and Nina (Hughes) Robb and has been a lifetime resident of this area. He is survived by his wife Lynne, whom he married on February 12, 1965; two sons, Robert (Kathy) Robb of Holley, Richard (Angela) Robb of Kendall; two daughters Barbara Robb of Medina, Cynthia (Hilario) Cruz of Holley; 14 grandchildren; two brothers, Harold (Ilene) Robb of Holley, Frank (Sue) Robb of Kendall; sister, Catherine (Don) Staples of Florida; nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by two brothers, Howard and Theodore.

Funeral Services were held October 4 at the Merrill-Grinnell Funeral Home, Holley. Interment, Lynhaven Cemetery, Lyndonville. Memorials can be made to the Morton Fire Department, Kendall Fire Department or Lakeside Memorial Hospital ER Department.

Widger, Kenneth L. "Ken," October 2, 2005. He was predeceased by his great-grandson, Jacob Shaffer. He is survived byhis wife of 51 years, Barbara (Vanalstine) Widger; his children, Dori (Jeff Funk) Widger, Dave (Sharon) Widger and Carole (Phil) Woods; his grandchildren, Rich (Jeanine) Shaffer, Adam and Erin Widger, Aubrey and Troy Gambrill; great-grandchildren, Ricky and Lindsey Shaffer; his brother, Dr. Bruce (Mary) Widger; several nieces and nehews.

DeGuglielmo, Angelina J. (Tumia), September 28, 2005 at age 77. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Frank J. DeGuglielmo; her sons Michael (Susan), Joseph (Debra) and Frank D. (Debra) DeGuglielmo; her grandchildren Stacy (Christian) Astudillo, Kristie (Michael) DeBenedetti, Michelle, Tricia, Jennifer, Michael and Frankie DeGuglielmo, Nikki, Michael and Anthony Verdile; great grandchildren Rachel and Jason DeBenedetti, Adrianna Astudillo; sisters Rosalie Tumia and Connie Aratari; brothers-in-law Mario (Manuela) and Albert (Donna) DeGuglielmo; sister-in-law Yolanda Tumia; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brother Louis Tumia and brother-in-law Alex Aratari.

A Funeral Mass was said October 1 at St. John's Church, Spencerport. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the American Heart Association or American Cancer Society in her memory.


Penkin, Annaliese M., October 2, 2005, at age 79. She is predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Michael Penkin; her grandson Peter C. Penkin and her brothers, Sepp and Eugene Fritsch. She is survived by her children, Carmen P. Clar, Peter M. (Angela) Michael (Susan) and Bernie (Debbie) Penkin; her grandchildren, Aaron Nathan Clar, John and Michael Penkin, Ashley and Jillian Penkin, Michele Ellsworth, Rita and Michel Penkin; her sisters, Else Sauer and Sofie (Sepp) Duster; several nieces and nephews living in Germany. Anneliese was a member of the St. John's Church Choir for many years.

A Memorial Mass was said October 6 at St. John's Church, Spencerport. Interment at the convenience of the family. Expressions of sympathy can be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to the American Heart Association in her memory.
