Stuart Chait AIA, has been appointed as the 2006 AIA New York State Vice President of Communications/PR for the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Rochester Chapter.

Chait is the principal of Chait Studios and is an active member of both the local AIA Chapter and the State AIA Chapter. His architectural office is in downtown Rochester, and he is a resident of Spencerport, where he lives with his wife.


Alison M. Kincaid of Spencerport was named to the dean's list at Binghamton University School of Management for her outstanding academic achievement for the spring 2005 semester.


Andy Smith, a sales associate with Nothnagle Realtors in Rochester who has been in the real estate business since 1998, was recently awarded the Seniors Real Estate Specialist® (SRES®) professioal designation by the Senior Advantage Real Estate Council® in Murphys, California.

Curtis Amesbury of Rochester, an associate broker for Prudential Real Estate Affiliates, received a Prudential CARES Volunteer Grants Award of $250 for the Monroe County Library System to benefit the Chili Public Library. Amesbury dedicated 44 hours of time editing the library's newsletter and coordinating fundraising and recycling programs. The Monroe County Library provides materials and programs to meet the informational, educational and recreational needs of individuals, member libraries and local government.


Robin Lauth of Hamlin, an administrative assistant for Prudential Real Estate Affiliates, received a Prudential CARES Volunteer Grants Award of $250 for the Brockport Cheerleading Boosters. Lauth volunteered 80 hours of time to the Brockport cheerleaders as their committee secretary. Her responsibilities included organizing and running many of the organization's fundraisers, banquets, competitions and community service projects.


Marine Corps Pfc. Brandon E. Koenig, son of Linda J. and James J. Koenig of Brockport recently completed basic training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, South Carolina and was promoted to his current rank.
