Steven Modica, founding partner of Greece law firm Modica & Associates, and Spencerport resident, has been elected to the board of directors for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society Upstate New York Chapter.


Air Force Airman Daniel W. Wegman has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

He is the son of Robert Wegman of Brockport and is a 2004 graduate of Brockport Central School.


Navy Senior Chief Petty Officer Kevin M. McGregor and more than 470 Navy reservists were mobilized from Naval Expeditionary Logistics Support Force (NAVELSF) Charlie home based in Williamsburg, Virginia and deployed to Iraq and Kuwait in support of the global War on Terrorism.

McGregor is a 1984 graduate of Hilton High School and joined the Navy in July 1984. He is the son of Jean Crowley of Greece.


Navy Seaman Recruit Scott G. Compertore, son of Beverly B. and Roy G. Compertore of Spencerport, recently completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Illinois. Compertore is a 2005 graduate of Spencerport High School.
