ALBION

Furnace, Thirl A. "Fred," age 71, died November 8, 2005. He was a US Army veteran serving from 1954-1956, and worked for General Motors for 25 years before retiring in 1996. He is predeceased by his wife Rita in 1996. He is survived by two children, Michael (Roxanne) Furnace and Darlene Cooper, both of Albion; three grandchildren, Tiffini Cooper, Katie Furnace, Jennifer Furnace all of Albion; one great granddaughter Cheyanne Elizabeth Nickerson. He is predeceased by a brother, Charles Furnace.

Funeral Services were held November 11 at the Merrill-Grinnell Funeral Home, Albion. Interment, St. Joseph's Cemetery.


BROCKPORT

•Bowen, Audrey Jean, Formerly of Brockport, passed away unexpectedly November 13, 2005, at age 67. She was predeceased by her son, Roger T. Bowen and daughter, Sandra Lee Bowen. Survived by her daugh-ters, Susan Cutcher, Anita Bowen and Julie (Richard) Johnston; brothers, Edward (Arlean) Snyder and David (Linda) Snyder; sister, Shirley Watkins; grandchildren, Fredrick "Kalei" Cutcher, Aaron (Missy) Mruk, Erika, Jeremiah and Alec Bowen, Gabriel Traver, James Johnston and William Wallace Roger Johnston; great-grandchild, Elijah Mruk; several nieces and nephews. Audrey was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star for many years.

A Memorial Service was held November 17 at the New Comer Family Funeral Home, Greece. Memorial contributions can be directed to Anita Bowen to offset funeral expenses.


•Dercqu, Helen J., On October 31, 2005 at age 77. She is predeceased by her husband Robert Dercqu Sr.; granddaughter Amanda; great grandson, Joshua. Survived by her son, Robert II (Anne); daughter Susan (Jim); brother, Edward Daurich of Pennsylvania; sisters, Audrey Spiering and Jean Kish of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Lisa (Mark) Dixon and Robert Daurich III and Jonathan; great grandchildren, Jesse and Ashleigh Dixon, Faith and Autumn Daurich, Robert Daurich IV and Aleighsha.

Services and interment at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions can be directed to Lakeside Memorial Hospice Program, 156 West Avenue, Brock-port 14420.


GATES

McClain, Irene E. (Sawyer), November 14, 2005, at age 83. Predeceased by her husband, Jerry McClain; sisters, Dorothy Sawyer and Louise Mayville; brother, William Sawyer. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Linda McClain; grandsons Andy and Aidan; brothers and sister, Art (Joyce) Sawyer of Niagara Falls, Ken (Joanie) Sawyer of Florida, Shirley Oldfield of Youngstown; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and staff Seabury Woods.

Funeral Services were held November 18 at Church of the Epiphany. Interment, private. Donations can be made to Church of the Epiphany, 3285 Buffalo Road, Rochester 14624 in her memory.


HAMLIN

Koss, Kathryn I., On November 15, 2005 at the age of 85. Predeceased by her husband, Milton. Survived by her daughter, Sandy (John) Baase; grandchildren, Jeffrey (Amy) Baase, Tricia Howe (Christian Kennedy); great grandchildren, Nicholas, Lindsay and Alexander Baase; sister Margaret Lyon; sisters and brothers-in-law, Margaret Zarpentine, Carol (Fay) LaDue, Helen (Jack) Watts, Mabel and Doris Koss, Herbert (Dot) Koss and Richard (Cathy) Koss.

A Memorial Service was held November 19 at the St. John Lutheran Church, Hamlin. Interment, Parma Union Cemetery. HOLLEY

Passarell, Janet (Robinson), Age 69, died November 12, 2005, at Lakeside Memorial Hospital. Janet was a member and Organist at the Disciples United Methodist Church in Clarendon for many years. She was a former employee at Owens Illinois Co. and GE in Brockport and a former member of the Town of Clarendon Republican Committee. She was predeceased by her husband, E. Sidney in 2003. Janet is survived by her children, Craig (Lisa) of Holley, Cara Passarell of Holley, Mia (David) Gonzalez of Brockport; four grandchildren, Rachel, Megan, Amber, Slade; sister, Joan Hube of Churchville; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Memorial Service was held November 15 at the Disciples United Methodist Church, Clarendon. Mem-orials can be made to Hospice of Orleans County or American Lung Association.


NORTH CHILI

•Hughes, Lawrence E., November 14, 2005 in his 95th year. Predeceased by his beloved wife, Rita Ecker Hughes. Survived by his caregivers, Frances (John) Powarzynski, John (Maureen) Frazer, Susan (Joe) Fredericks Hodes; also survived by Dorothy (Richard) O'Grady, Margaret Fredericks; and several other nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Lawrence was a proud member of the first four year class to graduate from Aquinas Institute in 1929. He was a 30 year employee of the Eastman Kodak Company.

A Funeral Mass was said November 18 at St. Christopher's Church. Interment, Creekside Cemetery, Churchville. Contributions can be made to Hospice of Rochester, 70 Metro Park, Rochester 14623 in his memory.


PARMA

Luciano, Alfred E. "Al," November 13, 2005 at the age of 74. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Elaine (Schultz); three sons, Rick (Terri), Bill (Judy), and Ken (Fran); daughter-in-law Heidi; granddaughters Kelly (Paul), Jamie, Jennifer, Jill, Lisa, Torrie and Kristen; great granddaughter, Sandra; sisters Carol Musso and Betty Parish; brother Richard (Sharon) Luciano; mother-in-law and father-in-law Robert and Esther Schultz. He retired after 42 years as a member of the Local 1170 CWA and an usher for the Local B-90.

A Funeral Mass was said November 16 at St. Lawrence Church. Inurnment at a later date. Donations can be made to the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society or American Lung Association in his memory.


SPENCERPORT

Bushman, "Link" Robert, Thursday, November 10, 2005, at age 82. Predeceased by his son, Peter Bushman. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Marie (Gardner) Bushman; son Mark (Sharon) Bushman; grandchildren, Tommy and Tammy; great grandchildren, Joshua, Brianna, Sam, Jocelyn and Savonnah; sister, Ruth Wells; and many dear friends and relatives.

A Funeral Mass was celebrated November 14 at St. John the Evangelist Church, Spencerport. Interment, St. Pius Tenth Cemetery. Donations can be made to the American Heart Association in his memory.


•Decker, Joy Noreen (Richardson), November 11, 2005, following a long-term illness. She is survived by her sisters, Claudia J. O'Hara of Pittsford and Ann (Mel) Katz of Greenwich, Connecticut; her children Daniel D'Urbano of Spencerport and Merrie Lee D'Urbano of Colorado; grandchildren Amy, David and Megan; her niece Tabatha (Michael) Santanna and children Michael and Cristofer.

•Henderson, Robert L. "Bob," Formerly of Clyde, November 7, 2005 at age 66. He is survivedy his daughters, Marissa (Sam) Andolino, and MauraHeidi Henderson, and their mother, Marla-Jo Henderson; sister, Margaret (Kenneth) Simmons; niece and nephew.

Funeral Services were private. Donations can be made to the American Heart Association in his memory.


Hopkins, Betty A., November 13, 2005, age 84. Survived by her husband Harry; children, James (Margaret) Hopkins, Linda (Russell) Drummey; grandchildren, Douglas (Gina) Hopkins, Thomas Hopkins, Jason and Daniel Drummey; nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services were held November 17 at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Inc., Hilton. Interment, Riverside Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the Arthritis Foundation in her memory.


•Wiesner, Lois J., November 16, 2005, age 70. Survived by her husband, James; children, Gerald Wiesner, James (Mary) Woodfield; grandchildren, Robin, David and Timothy.

Services were held at the convenience of the family. Interment Parma Corners Cemetery.
