Meghan McNamara, a junior at Spencerport High School, has been selected to perform as a member of the High School Chorale with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra at their Holiday Pops Concerts, from December 16 through December 18 at the Eastman Theater. She is a member of the Spencerport High School Women's Choir and is the daughter of Patricia A. McNamara of Spencerport.


The following local residents are eligible to participate in the December graduation ceremonies at SUNY Oswego: Candice M. Berardi and Theresa M. Malara of Hamlin; Jason M. Barton and Rebecca M. Murray of Hilton; Evan V. Lucieer and Rebecca S. Mance of Spencerport.


Dick Lippa, GRI, associate broker with Century 21 Capital received the 2005 Prestigious Sales Master Award from the Greater Rochester Association of Realtors. He has received numerous local, regional and international awards from Century 21 and has been in the business since 1977. Lippa specializes in existing homes, investment properties and new homes.


Air Force Capt. Brent A. Rockow is deployed overseas at a forward operating location in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Rockow, a contracting officer with six years of military service, is normally assigned to Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He is the son of Duane and Cherie Rockow of Hamlin. The captain graduated in 1996 from Brockport High School and received a bachelor's degree from Clemson University, South Carolina.


Navy Petty Officer 1st Class Robert A. Millspaugh, son of Jean M. and Richard A. Millspaugh of Hamlin conducted strikes on a known Improvised Explosive Device (IED) production facility northeast of Baghdad during a scheduled deployment in support of the Global War on Terrorism while assigned to the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt, homeported in Norfolk, Virginia.


Navy Seaman Vanessa R. Quattrini, a 2002 graduate of Byron-Bergen Central High School, recently completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Illinois.
