SUNY Brockport announces new BS/MPA program

SUNY College at Brockport has received approval to initiate a combined degree program between the Departments of Public Administration and Political Science. The program is scheduled to begin during the 2006-2007 academic year.

The combined political science/public administration degree allows students to complete their bachelor's and master's in public administration in just five years, allowing students to enter the workforce one full year ahead of their peers.

Students must have met the college admission criteria and been admitted to the undergraduate program at SUNY Brockport to be eligible for the combined program. Students must have a cumulative 3.0 or better GPA through the end of their sophomore year and may apply to the program in the first semester of their junior year.

The Department of Public Administration offers three tracks within the MPA degree. These tracks include General, Health Care Management, and Public Safety Management.
