Ian Potter, a 2004 graduate of Churchville-Chili High School, has completed his second year as starting kicker for the Alfred State Pioneers Football Team. He was named Pre-Season All American, received Special Teams Player of the Week Award four times this season, and was chosen for First Team All-Conference. Potter ranked 2nd in the nation for kicking under the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). He was 100 percent on extra points.


The Spencerport Business Honor Society announced the acceptance of six new members. Faculty advisor Kelly Inzinga reports that based on an extensive application process, Peter Blasioli, Nicole Bujak, Kaitlin Hunter, Karrie Mastrella, Phil Ranalletti and Matt Sprague have been accepted into the 2005-06 chapter of Business Honor Society. These students have demonstrated excellence in leadership, service, character and academic qualities. The new members were inducted on Monday, December 5.


Joan Greeno, associate broker of Chili-Ogden's Nothnagle Office, was recognized by the Greater Rochester Association of Realtors (GRAR) at their annual leadership and awards celebration of excellence on November 11. She was presented with the Sales Master Gold Award. This award honors agents who have 60-99 closed transactions and/or $6,000,000+ in closed volume during a consecutive 12-month period.

For more than two decades, Greeno has given full-time service to her real estate clients.

She resides in Chili with her husband, Larry, and has four grown children and eight grandchildren.


Air Force Airman 1st Class Christopher J. Hilbert has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

He is the son of John and Cathy Hilbert of Hilton. Hilbert is a 2002 graduate of Hilton High School.
