Holley Board selects winning logo

The Holley School District now has a professional logo to use on its publications and Web site thanks to Linda Barrett, Clarendon resident and district parent. In October, the district held a contest, open to all Holley School District residents, to find a logo. At its November 21 meeting, the Holley Board of Education selected Barrett's design from several entries and awarded her a Cannon Power Shot A400 digital camera with printer dock.

Barrett is a graphic artist by trade and has worked for Cory Graphics in Rochester for over 20 years. "Having worked in the graphic arts industry for many years, I know how important it is to have a professional, attractive logo," she said.

Barrett and her husband, Bob, have lived in Clarendon for 17 years. They have a daughter, Lisa, who is a junior at Holley High School.
