Dedicated service

Brockport Fire Chief Christian McCullough accepts a proclamation from Mayor Morton Wexler on the eve of his retirement as fire chief. DPT Superintendent Harry Donahue looks on. McCullough was thanked for his patience, dedication to the village, and spirit of volunteerism he has shown during the past seven years he has served as both deputy and chief. McCullough said that during his seven years he had participated in 1,500 meetings. "It's been a fantastic time and I appreciate all of the support the board has given the department," he said. A cake and punch reception was held after the regular board meeting on December 19 in McCullough's honor.
