Brockport CSD introduces a college preparation class

Brockport High School is offering a half-credit course entitled "Preparing for College Education," designed for second semester juniors and first semester seniors.

During class time, students will complete college applications, write college essays and letters requesting letters of recommendation for college, research scholarships and complete scholarship and financial aid documents. Students will take practice examinations. A special program will score their tests electronically, giving students feedback on areas where improvement may be needed. Practice tests will be available to students at no cost.

Students can register for the course, in January for next school year. For information about the course, email nvandenb@bcs1.org or call Nancy VanDenburg at 637-7449 ext. 7149.
