Former Hilton Mayor Larry Gursslin joined his mother, Josephine Gursslin, at the Hilton Community Center January 10 to announce his return to the political arena. Gursslin has filed a petition to run for the office of mayor in Hilton. Current mayor Bill Carter is not running in the March election. Gursslin served as village leader from 1982 - 1998.
