Area students invited to apply
for new SUNY Brockport scholarship

Two new college scholarships from the Margaret A. McGrath Charitable Foundation are available at SUNY Brockport for students residing in Sweden or Hamlin. Scholarship applications for the 2006-2007 academic year will be accepted through March 1, 2006.

The scholarships are for students majoring in elementary education or business at an accredited college or university for tuition.

Applicants must be a resident of the Town of Sweden or Hamlin, at least two years with a minimum "B" or numerical equivalent grade point average, and be enrolled or accepted to an accredited college or university with a major in elementary education or business. Students must demonstrate strong moral character, clear sense of purpose, maturity and leadership ability.
