Fearful flyers course to be offered

The Greater Rochester International Airport (GRIA) will be the host location for several "Fearful Flyers" courses being offered in 2006. The 10-hour, four week course is designed to provide participants with information to help manage their fear of flying.

Judith Johncox Willis, a relaxation therapist and stress management consultant with 35 years experience, will instruct the course. The fee charged by Willis to enroll in the course is $175 per person. In addition, the participants will have the option to purchase an airline ticket for a "graduation flight." The graduation flight is not a requirement of the course.

Classes will be held in the International Arrivals Hall at GRIA. Participants may register for any of the following sessions:

Spring session - March 15, 22, 29 and April 5; 6 to 8:30 p.m. *Graduation flight April 6.

Summer session - July 5, 12, 19 and 26; 6 to 8:30 p.m. *Graduation flight July 27.

Fall session - September 13, 20, 27 and October 4; 6 to 8:30 p.m. *Graduation flight October 5.
