Patella, Anne P., Sunday, January 22, 2006. Predeceased by her husband, Dr. Thomas J. Patella Sr. Survived by her sons, Thomas Jr. (Donna Rollins), and Rev. Michael Patella O.S.B.; daughter, Francine Patella (Keith Ryan); sisters, Alma Pavia, Viola Campagna; grandchildren, Aaron and Kiri Patella-Ryan, Elizabeth and Margaret Patella; several cousins and dear friends.

Blue, Gilbert W., January 21, 2006 at age 81.

BROCKPORT

Blossom, Louise C. "Peg," 98, of Flat Rock, North Carolina, died January 15, in Hendersonville, North Carolina. A native of Brockport, she served as Town Clerk of Clarkson. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Brockport and was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Following retirement, she and her husband, Warren H. Blossom, moved to Daytona Beach, Florida. Mr. Blossom passed away in 1984. Mrs. Blossom moved to Flat Rock five years ago. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn B. and David Seelbinder of Flat Rock; two sons and their wives, Rodney W. and Trudy Blossom of Logan, Utah and Jerome P. and Karen Blossom of Melbourne, Florida; eleven grandchildren, including John D. Seelbinder of Rochester and Mark W. Seelbinder and his wife Ellen of Spencerport; five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Services were private. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery, Brockport. Memorials can be made to the American Diabetes Association or to the American Cancer Society.


Cond, Joseph I., Sr., January 22, 2006, at the age of 75. Predeceased by his mother and father, George and Enid Cond; brother, George Cond, Jr.; sister, Shirley Ellsmore; and sons, Joe Cond, Jr. and Tom "TJ" Cond. He is survived by his loving wife, Elsie of 26 years; children, Linda Schuldes, Sharon Powers, Timmothy (Elaine) Cond, George (Anna) Cond, Denise (Chris) Whitcomb and Vicki Cond; daughter-in-law, Gidget Cond; sisters, Jacqueline (Doc) McCaffery and Mary Lou Lee; 26 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchil-dren; and three great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Joe retired from Kodak in 1983.

A Memorial Service was held January 25 at the First Baptist Church, Brockport. Donations can be made to the American Lung Association in his memory.


Corbett, James E., January 22, 2006 at the age of 70. Predeceased by his parents, John and Hilda Corbett; his brother, John F. Corbett; his sister and brother-in-law, Alicia and Walter Sendall. He is survived by his children, John E., Timothy (Judy), Lorraine (William) Flesch; his brothers, Joseph (Dolores), Patrick (Joanne); his sisters, Charlotte (Kevin) Swartout and Mary Avery; his grandchildren, Ryan, Erin, Makenzie, Jaimie, Travis, Jessica, Jackson and James; his children's mother, Gail Corbett; several nieces and nephews; and his long time friend, Louisa Gross. James was retired from SUNY of Brockport, a veteran of the Korean War and a member of the VFW Post 2890, Brockport and the Brockport Elks 2110.

A Remembrance Service was held January 28 at the VFW Post 2890, Brockport. Contributions can be made to Lakeside Memorial Hospital in his memory.


Engel, Kay S., January 18, 2006. She is survived by her husband Dave; daughter, Candice Engel of Indianapolis; her father, Alvin Clement of Medina; and her sister, Joan Betts of Arizonia.

A Memorial Service was held January 21 at the Fowler Funeral Home, Inc., Brockport. Contributions can be made to the Brockport Ambulance Corps in her memory.

•Drew, Donalda Webster "Donna," January 21, 2006, at age 67. She is survived by her husband of 28 years James W. Drew; her children, Edward John (Christine) Stein, Marguerite (Michael) Stein-Parker and Stephen Allan Stein; her grandchildren, Justin Parker, Jacob, Drew and John Stein; brothers, Milo (Joyce), Frank (Wanda) and Stephen (Emily) Webster; sisters, Mary Kimber and Gail (Charles) Bishop; several nieces and nephews. She was a retiree of Alliance Tool Corp. and was a member of Gates Chili Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.

Sekella, Thomas J., January 20, 2006. Predeceased by his father, John R. Survived by his loving wife, Katina; children, Christina (Jeff Sickelco) Sekella, Tatiana (Jesse Cross) Sekella; mother, Katrina G. Sekella; sisters, Deborah (Sam) Perkins, Mary (Richard) Schrock; brother, Stephen J. Sekella; numer-ous nieces and nephews. Thomas served on the parish council, taught Sunday school at the Greek Orthodox Church, he was a Volunteer Coordinator at the Center of Dispute Settlement, managed part-time at the Jewish Community Center and substituted at Churchville Chili School District.

Bauman, George G. "Jerry," Died peacefully January 24, 2006 at age 63. Predeceased by his parents John G. and Jane M. Bauman. Survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Sharon; children Karen (David) Fien, Lee Ann, Scott and Daniel (Janice) Bauman; his grandchildren Jacob, Nathan and Christopher Fien, Quinton Agostonelli, Brenden Brown, Sadie Flint-Bauman and Piper Bauman; his siblings Judith, James, John, Joseph, Justin and Jerome; numerous nieces and nephews.

Puffer, Allan M., January 24, 2006 at age 93. He was predeceased by his wife, Leola Puffer. He is survived by his children, Betty Young, Raymond (Sharon) Puffer, Bernie Puffer and Maryellen (Thomas) Downes; 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; his great-great grandson; several nieces and nephews. Allan was a member of St. John's Church for 90 years.

Smith, Gertrude E. "Trudy," January 21, 2006, age 83. Predeceased by her husband, Donald "Tiger" Smith; brothers, Maurice "Pep" Coe, Richard Coe, Stanley "Bud" Coe. Survived by children, Sandy (Tom) Davies, Donald Smith; brother-in-law, Evan (Mary) Smith of Indianapolis; sisters-in-law, Alice Coe, Jean Coe; grandchildren, Patrick (Tina) Davies, Brendan Davies, Sean Davies; great-grandchild, Kenzie Davies; many nieces, nephews, cousins and her devoted caregiver, Mary Martin. Trudy was a life-long member of Parma Baptist Church and a member of the Belles and Beaus Square Dancers. Trudy taught hundreds of children how to swim in her back yard pool through YMCA and Red Cross swim programs.
