NCUA grants community charter
to Spencerport Federal Credit Union

The Spencerport Federal Credit Union has been granted a Community Charter by the National Credit Union Administration. Those whose live, work, worship, attend school or actively volunteer in one of the following towns within Monroe County are now eligible for membership: Ogden, Parma, Gates, Greece, Riga, Sweden or Chili. All new memberships are subject to a review through E-Funds Chex Systems.

The Spencerport Federal Credit Union was originally founded in the 1960s for the employees and families of the Spencerport Central School District. Over the years, the Credit Union grew to include many local businesses and organizations in their field of membership. In December 2005, BCS Federal Credit Union (Brockport Central Schools) became part of the Spencerport Federal Credit Union.

The credit union's main office is located at 2775 Spencerport Road in Spencerport (between Cosgrove Middle School and the SCSD Administrative Building). Office hours are Monday-Thursday 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. and Fridays 8:30 a.m. - 6 p.m. Phone is 585-352-6890. The BCS office is located in the Administration Building of Brockport Schools and is open Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m., Mondays from 9 a.m. - noon and Wednesdays from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Spencerport Federal Credit Union is a full service financial institution offering free checking accounts, savings, certificates of deposits, money markets, IRAs, all types of loans, credit cards, debit and ATM cards and other services.
