SUNY Brockport and
UR's Simon School sign admission agreement

The University of Rochester's William E. Simon School of Business Administration and the State University of New York College at Brockport have established a direct admissions partnership to attract SUNY Brockport undergraduates to the Simon School's MBA program.

"This partnership is a wonderful opportunity for our best students to earn their MBA degrees at one of the nation's top business schools," said Christine Murray PhD, dean of the SUNY Brockport School of Professions.

The Simon School's "Early Leaders" initiative is designed to attract traditional-aged undergraduates to its MBA graduate program that historically drew applicants with four to six years of work experience beyond their bachelor's degree.

According to the agreement, SUNY Brockport students who qualify will be guaranteed admission into the Simon School MBA program following their senior year. In addition, the Simon School will offer students competitive merit-based scholarships ranging between $2,500 and $30,000.

The Simon School is ranked among the leading graduate business schools in the world by top financial publications.

The SUNY Brockport Department of Business Administration and Economics earned its national accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) in 2002. The College also has a 4+1 MBA agreement with RIT, Union University and Clarkson University.
