Community participation sought on B-B capital project

The board of education of the Byron-Bergen Central School District requested the formation of a committee of community members to explore the development of a capital project. This committee, along with others consisting of the district staff, will assess the infrastructure needs and advise the board of education on the viability of such a project.

A state-mandated and funded survey of the district's buildings' current conditions which subsequently outlines upcoming maintenance and upgrade projections will serve as the spring-board for the work of the Community Facilities Input Committee (CFIC).

Enrollment in the CFIC is open to district residents and staff. The initial meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, February 15 from to 7 to 9:15 p.m. in the High School Library. For information call 494-1220, extension 2829.
