Seventh-grader Eric Lemke remembered back to a social studies class where he learned about the location of the Susquehanna River and answered "New York" for start of the river and the win. Lemke received a National Geographic medal and certificate. He is awaiting the results on a multiple-choice test he took to determine if he will advance to the New York State and possibly national competitions. February 19, 2006 |
