Holley Elementary thanks Wal-Mart for donations

Brockport Wal-Mart donated four large boxes of holiday decorations to Holley Elementary School. The decorations were used for the School Arts Partnership Grant for which the musical team of Bart Dentino and Kevin Huber are working with first graders using visualization to improve reading skills. The project is centered on a camping theme, so students used some of the artificial leaves to create tree hats. Another class is using the plastic holly bushes for a pretend berry hunt, also as part of the project. Beth Ann Sanford's first grade class models the "tree hats" they created.
