Stafford, Michael James, February 26, 2006, age 38. Son of Donald G. and Betty Davies Stafford of Churchville; brother of Edward (Tammy) Stafford of Bergen; uncle of Amanda Stafford and Jonathan Stafford, both of Bergen.

Funeral Services were held March 2 at St. Christopher's Church, N. Chili. Memorials can be made to Open Door Mission, 156 North Plymouth Avenue, Rochester, NY 14608 or to a charity of one's choice.


HAMLIN

•Brone, Brian C., February 24, 2006, after a courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife, Nancy DeLaney-Brone; his daughter, Jody (Robert) Ayers; his mother, Lucille Brone; grandchildren, Matthew and Erika Ayers; sister, Janice Brone; brother, Gary (Judee) Brone; nephew, Mark Brone; special friend, Dan Porter; his dog, "Keeper." He was pre-deceased by his father, Clifford and his nephew Jesse. He was a member of the Greater Rochester Running Club.

Funeral Services were held February 27 at Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Inc., Hilton. Private interment. Contributions can be made to Rochester Humane Society in his memory.


•DeLee, Jann M. (Hartman), February 24, 2006, age 46, after a 3-year battle with melanoma. Survived by her devoted husband of 23 years, Thomas; children, Nicholas, Zachary, Blake; parents, George and Beverley Hartman; brother, George Paul (Melinda) Hartman; father and mother-in-law, Charles and Barbara DeLee; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sharon (Doug) Maley, Jennifer (John) Crowley; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Also her beloved Basenjis, Dana, Cosmo and Sasha.

Funeral Services were held February 27 at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Inc., Hilton. Con-tributions can be made to Journey Home or towards Melanoma Research in her memory.


HOLLEY

Freida, Donald, Age 68, died February 21, 2006. He was predeceased by his wife, Sue in 2002. He is survived by his children, Rani (Michael) Schonert of Delaware, Robert (Brenda) Freida of Holley, Donald (Mandy) Freida of Florida, Daniel Freida, Danene Thomas; 16 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins.

Funeral Services were held March 1 at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., Holley. Interment Riverside Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the Clarendon Fire Company in his memory.


NORTH CHILI

Lechner, Mary M., February 27, 2006 at age 90. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Hadrian; sons, Joseph Lechner of Fredricktown, Ohio and Jonathan Lechner of Quakertown, Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Paul (Sharla), Dawn Elizabeth and Sarah Bethany. Mary taught for 22 years at Roberts Wesleyan College. Prior to that she taught at Eastern Nazarene College in Wollaston, Massachusetts.

A Memorial Service at Pearce Memorial Church in North Chili will be held at a later date.


PARMA

Standing, John C., February 24, 2006, age 75. Survived by his daughter, Sandy (Tom) Garland-Standing; grandchildren, Walela and Tsali Garland-Standing; many cousins.

Services were held February 27 at Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Inc., Hilton. Interment Parma Union Cemetery. Contributions can be made to American Heart Association in his memory.


SPENCERPORT

•Brower, Gerald L. "Jerry", February 26, 2006, at age 73. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Ruth (Frank) Brower; his children, Jerry D. (Linda) Brower, Cindy Lebeck, Judy (Joe) Dyer, and Vicki (Norm) Lessord; his grandchildren, David, Rachel, Amanda and Andrew Brower, Dan, Jeff and Nicole Lebeck, Jason and Josh Dyer, Chrissy, Mike and Matt Lessord; his brother Richard Brower; his sister Dorothy (Herbert) Koss; brothers and sisters-in-law, Don (Bev) Frank, Celine (John) Dawes, Barbara Frank, Norbert Metzger; several nieces and nephews. He was a retiree of Eastman Kodak Co.

A Funeral Mass was said March 2 at St. John's Church, Spencerport. Interment, St. John's Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the American Heart Association or to a charity of one's choice in his memory.


•Jourdan, Edward P., February 27, 2005 at age 56. He was predeceased by his brother Stephen. He is survived by his wife, Judith (Lawson) Jourdan; his children Robert and Desirae; his father, Robert (Peggy) Jourdan; his sisters, Mary Anne (Robert) Curtin, Jean Starner, Dianne (Kevin) Walka and Robin (Tom) Costello; father and mother-in-law, Glenn and Arline Lawson; brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Cheryl Lawson; also Sally Jean Alexander and her son Michael; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was a teacher in Gates Chili School District for many years and finished his career in the Brockport School District.

A Funeral Mass was said March 3 at St. John's Church, Spencerport. Interment Fairfield Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society or to Girls and Boys Town in his memory.


•LeJeune, Shirley (Meyer) "Nurse Shirley," Peacefully after a short illness on February 28, 2006 at age 65. She is survived by her loving husband Terry of 40 years; son William (Desiree) of Utah, and daughter Margaret Ross (Michael) of Rochester. Shirley worked as a Registered Nurse for 44 years. She was Dr. Teodoro Mariano's nurse for the last 26 years of her life.

A Memorial Mass was celebrated March 4 at St. Anne's Church, Mount Hope Avenue, Rochester. Con-tributions can be made to American Cancer Association, Lollypop Farm or American Diabetes Association in her memory.


•Stromquist, Catherine H., February 25, 2006 at age 95. She was predeceased by her husband, Bertil A. Stromquist Sr. and her sons James Sr. and Bert Jr. She is survived by her daughters, Zella Morrison and Beverly Frisch; her son Lawrence Stromquist; her brother, Arnold Hughson of Florida; her daughters-in-law, Phyllis and Marcia Stromquist; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one great great-grandson; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services were held February 28 at Walker Brothers Co. Funeral Home, Inc., Spencerport. Interment Fairfield Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the Spencerport Volunteer Ambulance in her memory.


•Sweeting, Esther M. (McLaughlan), On February 28, 2006 in Seminnole, Florida at age 86. She is survived by her husband, Charles McLaughlan; sons, William Sweeting and John Sweeting both of Rochester; also four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
