Rochester picnic in Florida features hometown favorites

The 25th annual Rochester Day Picnic will be held Saturday, March 25, 2006 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Wickham Park Main Pavilion, 3845 Wickham Road, Melbourne, Florida. Tickets are $7 at the door. Included in the ticket price are two hots (red or white). Those attending need to bring table service and a dish to pass with their own group. Beverages will be available. Abbott's Custard will also be available this year for $1 cones.

Carmen Basilio will again be signing autographs. He was placed in Boxing History 1955-1959.

Last year, over 700 people attended the gathering of Rochester friends and neighbors, work acquaintances and residents in Florida for the winter months.
