AREA

•McClelland Rev. Neil Allan, age 58, a pastor, died March 9, 2006. Neil was born August 6, 1947, in Rochester to Allan and Marion McClelland. Neil graduated from Brockport College with a degree in economics and Pittsburgh Theological Seminary with a master's of divinity degree. Neil served congregations in Conesus, NY, New Middletown, Ohio, Bridgeport, Michigan, Longview and Houston, Texas, Metairie, Louisiana, Binghamton and Arcade, New York and served as a national park chaplain in Yosemite, California. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Linda McClelland of Grand Prairie, Texas; sons, the Rev. Robert J. McClelland (Stacy) of Harrisonburg, Virginia, Scott A. McClelland of Austin, Texas and David S. McClelland of Grand Prairie, Texas; granddaughters, Cameron McClelland and Taylor McClelland of Harrisonburg, Virginia; several cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

A Memorial Service was held March 14 at First Presbyterian Church of Arlington. Contributions can be made to a living memorial for Neil at First Presbyterian Church of Arlington, 1200 South Collins, Arlington, Texas 76010.


•Passarell, Kenneth P., March 11, 2006, at age 69. He is survived by his daughters, Margo Passarell, Louise (Mike) Zona, Cynthia (Keith) Oliver, all of Holley; sons, Robert Passarell of Rochester, Jeffery (Nancy) Passarell of Avon; sister, Irene Parmalee; brother, Neil (Pat) Passarell; 12 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service was held March 16 at the Spencerport United Methodist Church, Spencerport. Interment, Hillside Cemetery, Holley. Contributions can be made to the Roswell Park Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 631, Buffalo, NY 14240 in his memory.

•Wade, Diantha Adams, of Exeter, New Hampshire, formerly of Brockport, died January 28, 2006. Predeceased by her son Christopher; grandson Benjamin Medding; parents Elmer and Mintcha Adams; brothers and sister, Grant Adams, Madelyn Whipple, Donald Adams and Elmer (Jake) Adams. Survived by her loving husband and companion of 60 years, Robert; children, Susan (George) Medding, Greenville, South Carolina; R. Terrence (Diane) Wade, Kensington, New Hampshire; DLynn (Kevin) Crowley, Exeter, New Hampshire; Sarah (Scot) Wilcox, Camden, Maine; Catherine (Rex) Zedalis, Tulsa, Oklahoma; Jonathan (Linda) Wade, Northborough, Massachusetts; Eric (Beth) Wade, Ipswich, Massachusetts; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; nieces and nephews, James (Charlene) Whipple, Brockport, Carol (Raymond) Gillette, Hilton, Donald Adams, Brockport, Colleen Whipple Noble, Brockport, Margaret (Daniel) Burns, Churchville, Shirley Jean Adams and Amy Sue Adams; many grand-nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service was held February 2, 2006 in Exeter, New Hampshire. A Celebration of Life gathering was held in Brockport on February 19, 2006.


HILTON

Cooley, Evelyn (Mank), March 8, 2006, age 77 in North Ft. Myers, Florida. Predeceased by her brother, Fritz Mank. Survived by her loving husband, Richard; brother, Erich Mank; sisters, Hertha Miller, Audy (Donald) Hess, Gertude (Adam) Gaus, Anne (Peter) Paap; sister-in-law, Ruth Mank; many nieces, nephews and friends. Evelyn was employed by Eastman Kodak for 40 years and retired in 1986.

Funeral Services were held March 14 at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Inc., Hilton. Interment, Parma Union Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the American Heart Association or Sally Edelman Cancer Fund in her memory.


•Gavigan, Helen M. (Perry), March 14, 2006 age 79. Predeceased by her husband, Joseph; brother, Charles Perry; sister Susan Cotten. Survived by her children, Roger (Joyce) Gavigan, Gerald (Judith) Gavigan, Patricia (Kevin) Sullivan; brothers, Gerald (Maxine) Perry, John (Mary) Perry; sisters, Doris Kelly, Bonnie (Ron) Percy; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Helen was an active member of the Hilton Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, former Village trustee and retiree from the Hilton Village offices.

A Funeral Service was held March 17 at the Hilton United Methodist Church. Spring interment, Lakeview Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 435 East Henrietta Road, Rochester, 14620 or Hilton Fire Department in her memory.


•Gliottone, Patsy, March 15, 2006, age 95. Pre-deceased by his wife, Angelina "Jean"; daughter, Geraldine Curran. Survived by his grandchildren, Steve (Deb), Michael (Laurie), Robert Curran and Deborah (Tom) Ives; great-grandchildren, Tara, Nick, Jesse, Pat, Samantha, Mike and Scott Curran, Dan and David Ives; brothers, Frank and Al Gliottone; son-in-law, Gerard Curran; nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service was held March 18 at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home Inc., Hilton. Contributions can be made to City of Rochester Firemen's Benevolent Fund in his memory.


HOLLEY

•Meland, James J., 65, formerly of Holley, died suddenly March 12, 2006 at his home in Palmyra. He is survived by four sons, Dan Meland of Batavia, Scott Meland of Palmyra, Steve Meland of Batavia, Troy Meland of Marion; two grandchildren, Jessica and Patrick Meland; sister, MaryJo Nayman of Brockport; nieces, nephews and special friends, the Graham Family. He is predeceased by a brother, John Meland.

A Mass of Christian Burial was said March 17 at St. Mary's Church, Holley. Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society Memorial Program, P.O. Box 7, East Syracuse, New York 13057.


•Sunseri, Marguerite A., Age 95, of South Windsor, Connecticut, formerly of Holley, died March 10, 2006. She was predeceased by her husband, James. Mrs. Sunseri is survived by her son: James (Karen) Sunseri; daughters: Judith (Charles) Kraeger, Mary (Roger) King; sister, Mary Ann Colavito; grandchildren, Jennifer (Peter) Johnson, Allison (Frank) Velarde, Krista (James) Haefner, Andrew King, Amanda (Brian) Fee; great grandchildren, Claire, Charles, Elizabeth, as well as several beloved nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial was said March 17 at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, Holley. Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery. Donations can be made to the Holley Historical Society in her memory.


SPENCERPORT

•Cleary, William J., March 8, 2006. He was predeceased by his wife, Patricia Brueckner Cleary (1990) and his brothers John L. and Lawrence J. He is survived by his sister Peggy (Thomas A. ) McDermott; several nieces and nephews. Bill was owner of Cleary Oil Company. He served as an officer of local, state and national petroleum organizations. He was a life member of both the Greece Lakeshore (Crescent Beach) and Spencerport Volunteer Fire Departments. He was a member of Ferris Goodridge American Legion Post #330 and VFW Post #5335, Boynton Beach, Florida. A special thank you is extended to the Case family for many years of loving care and great friendship.

At Bill's request there will be no services. Contributions can be made to the Spencerport Fireman's Exempt, P.O. Box 312, Spencerport, NY 14559 in his memory.


•Epping, Mary F. March 9, 2006 at age 93. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert J. Epping. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Robert W. and JoAnne Epping; her grandsons Michael (Elena), Steven (Jeanne) and Mark (Laura) Epping; her great grandchildren Gina Marie, Vincent, Nicolas, Ashley, Haley, Mason, Joseph and Alyssa. She was a member of the Ogden Senior Center.

A Memorial Mass was said March 13 at St. John's Church, Spencerport. Interment St. John's Cemetery. Friends wishing may have Masses offered or contribute to the Ogden Farmers' Library in her memory.


•Fittos, Bernard A., "Sarge," March 10, 2006 at age 71. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Jacqueline Fittos; his daughters, Kim (Michael) Pacitto of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and Susan (Glenn Gilmore) Fittos of Hilton; five grandchildren, Brendon, Michael and Kyle Pacitto, Alexa Gilmore and Samantha Fittos; his brothers, Stephen Fittos and Fritz (Helen) Fittos; his sister Josie Polny; brothers-in-law, Donald (Sharon) McCoy and Edward Janis; several nieces and nephews. He retired from the Monroe County Sheriffs Office in 1993 following 31 years of service, was a Navy veteran and was a member of Ferris Goodridge American Legion Post #330.

A Funeral Mass was said March 15 at St. John's Church, Spencerport. Interment St. John's Cemetery. Contributions can be made to a charity of one's choice in his memory.


•Kenyon, Helen J. (Gregory), March 5, 2006 at age 94. She was predeceased by her husband, Roger B. Kenyon. She is survived by her son Roger H. Kenyon; her daughter Sue (Frank) Osterhoudt; two grandchildren Donna Rohrbacher and Debbie (Bill) Geil; five great grandchildren, Stephanie, Matt and Tim Rohrbacher, Tara and Keith Geil; nieces and nephews. Helen was a member of the theater group "The Kodakers," and became a registered nurse over 60 years ago at Rochester General Hospital.

Funeral Services and interment in Fairfield Cemetery were at the convenience of the family. Contributions can be made to a charity of one's choice in her memory.
