Ground broken for $18-million
SUNY Brockport residential complex

Ground was broken March 22 for an $18-million residential complex on the SUNY Brockport campus. The 52 townhomes will house 208 and construction is expected to be completed and ready for the first student residents in the fall of 2007. Each of the units will include a full kitchen, dining room, living room, four bedrooms, two full baths and a washer and dryer. They will be fully furnished and equipped with Internet access, air conditioning, cable television and will have access to parking. SUNY Brockport President John R. Halstead said the project will expand the variety of living options for students while meeting the growing demand for on-campus housing.
