Laura Stultz, daughter of Bill and Donna Stultz of Spencerport, was named to the dean's list for the fall semester 2005 at Fredonia State University. She is in her sophomore year as an elementary education major.


Samuel Guenther, of Roosevelt Highway, Hilton, has been named to the dean's list for the winter quarter at Rochester Institute of Technology.

A fourth-year student in RIT's College of Applied Science and Technology, Guenther is studying mechanical engineering.

He is the son of John and Susan Guenther and a 2001 graduate of Hilton High School.


Area residents were among those named to the Niagara University academic dean's list for the fall 2005 semester. To qualify for the academic dean's list, students must attain a 3.25 academic grade-point average for the semester.

Brockport High School graduate Bradley Mutton ('03) was chosen for membership in Kappa Delta Pi at Greenville College in Greenville, Illinois. Kappa Delta Pi, an international honor society in education, elects those to membership who exhibit the ideals of scholarship, high personal standards, and promise in teaching and allied professions. Selection as a member of Kappa Delta Pi is based on high academic achievement, a commitment to education as a career, and a professional attitude that assures steady growth in the profession.

Kappa Delta Pi members make up the top 10 percent of those entering the field of education, and include award-winning and outstanding practicing educators.


Laurie Farnsworth of Spencerport has been named to the dean's list for the winter quarter at Rochester Institute of Technology's National Technical Institute for the Deaf. Farnsworth is majoring in sign language interpretation.

The dean's list recognizes the academic achievement of students earning a 3.4 grade point average (GPA) or better.


Andrew Wroblewski will graduate from Imagery Intelligence Training in the United States Army on April 27. Wroblewski is a graduate from Brockport Central School and plans on attending college for a degree in business after his four years with the United States Army.

He is the son of Bruce and Debbie Wroblewski of Clarkson.
