Brockport Varsity Club plans Senior Citizen Prom

The Varsity Club at Brockport High School will be sponsoring the 11th annual Senior Citizen Prom. This year's prom will be held at the Sweden Senior Center, 133 State Street, Brockport on Saturday evening, April 29 from 7 to 9 p.m. Many door prizes, donated by area merchants and restaurants, will be given away.

The always-popular 15-piece big band "The Gateswingers" and its vocalists will provide music from the 1940s-60s. Refreshments will be provided. There is no cost to attend the Senior Citizen Prom, but all interested are asked to pick up a ticket at the Sweden Senior Center, or call any of the following: Jeff Bush, BHS Varsity Club President at 637-5963, Sweden Senior Center at 637-8161, or Michael Myers, Brockport High School at 637-1876.

The evening could not take place without the support of the BPOE Brockport Lodge No. 2110, Lions Club of Brockport, Brockport Rotary, Brockport Kiwanis Club and Brockport Teachers' Association.
