Professionals lend expertise to
Roberts Wesleyan business students

A panel of area professionals donated their time and expertise to help prepare Roberts Wesleyan College business students for life after college. The Roberts business department hosted the "Networking Night" on March 23. Seven professionals participated, including; Re/Max Realtor Elaine Crowell of Spencerport; Dennis S. Raup, president of VisionMakers' Leadership Practices, Inc.; Jenny Champeau, director of direct marketing services, inside sales and marketing, Unisys; Donna L. Preston, senior manager, marketing communications, graphic communications group, Eastman Kodak Company; Laurie A. Enright, CPA, PHR, talent acquisition and retention manager, The Bonadio Group; Joel Hoomans, manager of leadership development and development and employee relations Wegmans/Roberts Wesleyan College; and Ben LeVan, SPHR, vice president for organizational development, Heritage Christian Services.

The panelists discussed hiring issues, how to interview and what they look for in prospective employees. They also gave individual interviews to students and evaluated their performance.
