NYSDOT to resurface Route 63 in Orleans County

NYSDOT is undertaking a preventative maintenance project to resurface State Route 63 within the village of Lyndonville as part of its summer paving program. Work began Monday, May 1 and will be completed by the end of the month.

The existing top course of asphalt will be milled off, pavement repairs will be made where necessary, new material will be placed and new pavement markings will be applied. Similar paving projects in the Genesee and Orleans county area include the following locations. A schedule for each project has not yet been determined, but work will be complete by November 30, 2006.

NYSDOT paving projects within Genesee and Orleans counties: Route 98 from NYS Thruway to Elba village line, Towns of Batavia and Elba; Route 31 from Knowlesville Railroad Bridge to Gaines Basin Road, Town of Albion; Route 387 from Route 31 to Route 104, Town of Murray; and Route 237 from Route 31A through the Village of Holley.
