Pernicano, Sam, "Pernie," April 26, 2006 at age 77. Predeceased by his sisters, Dolly Scarpulla and Loretta Bior. Survived by his wife, Mary (Pucillo) Pernicano; sons, Sam (Jane) Pernicano, Michael Pernicano (Kristen Eichmann); grandchildren, Kristin, Sam, Danielle (Jeff) Laine, James, Jonathan, Allison, Michael and Nickolis; sister, Barbara (Joseph) Messura; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Elvira and Tony Tallo, John Scarpulla, Anthony Biondi, Mary Ann Pucillo; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Services were held April 29 at New Hope Community Church, North Chili. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.


BERGEN

•Johnson, Richard N. Sr., age 70, who owned and operated Dick Johnson Excavating in Bergen, died April 29, 2006. His wife, Leilani F. Johnson, died in 2003. Surviving are his four children, Rick (Bonnie) Johnson of Bergen, Julie Johnson of Bath, Mike (Pam) Johnson of Bergen and Brenda (Tom) Schmitt of Bergen; a brother, Dayton (Sally) Johnson of Lester; a sister, Margerite Rosatono of Rochester; five grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He is brother of the late Dallas Johnson.

Funeral Services were held May 3 at the H. E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, Bergen. Interment, Riga Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the family.


BROCKPORT

•Ouillette, Clarence R., April 29, 2006. Predeceased by wife, Mabel. Survived by sons, Greg (Patricia) and Raymond (Patricia) Ouillette; and daughter, Michelle Dufour (Richard Wyman); granddaughter, Nicole (David DuRocher) Dufour; sister, Rita Basley; and four other grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass was said May 2 at Church of the Nativity BVM, Brockport. Interment, Mt. Olivet Cemetery.


HAMLIN

•Jacobs, Lisa Jean, Age 53, April 29, 2006. She is the sister of Cheryl (Robert) DeLong and the late Gary Jacobs; daughter of the late Fred and Betty (Twitchell) Jacobs; loving aunt, great-aunt and longtime employee at SUNY Brockport.

A Memorial Service was held May 3 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Hamlin. Interment private. Contributions can be made to St. John's Lutheran Church Memorial Fund in her memory.


HILTON

•McCluski, Betty O., April 20, 2006, age 83. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Felix, 1993. She is survived by her children, Catherine (Peter) Fedorchuk of Dansville, Stephen (Kim) McCluski of Pittsford; her grandchildren, Brad McCluski of Pittsford and Suzanne Kelly of Virginia; her sister, Connie (Robert) Follestad of Texas. She was also predeceased by her grandson, Ryan McCluski, 2004. Betty was a retired Hilton Central Elementary Teacher.

Funeral Services were held privately. Interment, Garland Cemetery. Contributions can be made to Golisano Children's Hospital, 601 Elmwood Avenue, Rochester 14692 or Dansville Public Library, 20 Main Street, Dansville 14437 in her memory.


SPENCERPORT

Davies, Thomas Patrick, April 28, 2006, age 61, after a courageous battle against diabetes, heart disease, and Addison's. Predeceased by his parents, Gene and Ruth (Bates) Davies. Survived by his wife of 38 years, Sandy (Smith) Davies; his sons, Patrick (Tina), Brendan and Sean (Melanie Kelly) Davies; granddaughter, Kenzie; his brother, Tim; sisters, Sue and Mary Jo; brother-in-law, Donald Smith; aunts, nephew, cousins, and many friends. Tom graduated from Spencerport High School, received his B.S. in Phys Ed from Kent State. Tom coached his sons' youth soccer and baseball teams for many years. He worked in Kodak Recreation for 25 years. He received his Masters in Adaptive Phys Ed. He then worked at the U of R as a building mechanic. He was an accomplished woodworker, stonemason and an avid Bills and Notre Dame fan.

Funeral Services were held May 2 at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Inc., Hilton. Contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association or School of the Holy Childhood in his memory.
