Kendall senior takes first place in skills competition

Kendall senior Valarie Dickinson took first place in the Skills USA Nurses Assistant Competition in Syracuse. During the competition, she was required to demonstrate infant CPR, taking a patient's vital signs, and patient transfer. She also underwent a mock job interview. Skills USA is a national organization for high school and college students enrolled in career and technical programs. Valarie is in the nursing program at the BOCES 2 Career and Technical Education Center. She will compete in Kansas City at the national competition in June.
