Blue Devils sweep singles

After dropping all three doubles matches, Brockport rebounded to take all four singles matches for a 4-3 win over Churchville-Chili in boy's tennis.

Freshman Jake Lehman rebounded after losing the first set 2-6 to win his match at fourth singles with 7-5 and 6-2 wins to give the Blue Devils the win. That came after senior Seth Robishaw won at first singles 7-5, 6-3, sophomore Dan Bentz won at second singles 6-3, 7-5 and senior Mark Shannon took his third singles match 6-3, 6-4.

The Saints easily won all three doubles matches. Sean Krisher and Dan Kurzen won at first doubles 6-2, 6-2, Jim Adam and Andrew Calvete were victorious at second doubles 6-0, 6-2 and Sterzo Beris with Kevin Bauer took their third doubles match 6-2, 6-2.

The Blue Devils improved to 4-4 overall, 2-2 league with the victory.
