Summer Day Camp information offered

The Sweden/Clarkson Recreation Summer Day Camp will be held from June 26 to August 18. The camp will be broken up into eight separate weekly sessions and participants must register the Thursday prior to camp. The camp will host children who have completed kindergarten through sixth grade at the community center site. Children can be dropped off beginning at 7 a.m. and must be picked up no later than 6 p.m.

Prices are as follow:

•Week 1, 8 - $124 for the week includes Roseland Water Park and Darien Lake;

•Week 2 - $59 for the week (no camp July 3 and 4);

•Week 3, 5, 6 - $114 for each week, includes Minnehans (3), Letchworth park trip (5), includes Strand movie theater (6);

•Week 4, 7 - $89 for the week;

•Week 2, 4, 6 - Sports Camps offered at $20 extra for children if they are registered for that week of summer camp.

•Daily rate is $29/day or $44/day with field trip. Half-day rate is $54/week or $79/week with field trip. Jr. Counselor rate is $79/week, (must be grade 7-9). If there are two children in the same family, the cost for the second child is $10 off the final price.

Preschool camp

New for summer of 2006 is the Sweden/Clarkson Preschool camp. The camp will run for five weeks June 26 to July 28, four hours each day. The children will take part in fun, educational activities while making new friends.
