Library presents 'First Amendment' exhibit

The Hamlin Public Library, in cooperation with the Long Island Coalition Against Censorship, will present an exhibit entitled "Censorship in Schools and Libraries" from June 1 to June 28 at the library.

The exhibit is a traveling illustrated journal display about the First Amendment to the United States Constitution and its significance in public libraries and public schools. The exhibit documents 30 important incidents of censorship in public libraries and public schools that have occurred nationally.
