Memorial Day honors

Cub Scouts from Hamlin Cub Scout Pack 323, chartered by the Hamlin Lions Club, was one of the number of Cub Scouts doing flag planting on a cold, windy Saturday, May 20. The event was sponsored by the Hamlin VFW, Post 6703. Tracy Muller coordinated the event for the Cub Scouts while Senior Commander Dan Updike coordinated the event for the VFW, who supplied the flags. Between Lakeside and the Blossom cemeteries the Cub Scout Pack 323 planted 160 flags.
