John Barclay

Hilton resident recognized

On Tuesday, May 9, John Barclay was recognized and presented a Certificate of Recognition from the Monroe County Legislature. Richard Yolevich, Legislator, District 1, along with the Hilton-Parma Recreation Department recognized Barclay for the time he donates to numerous community organizations and activities.

Barclay founded and coordinated the Hilton-Parma Veterans Display and Brick Memorial at the Village Community Center, he also co-coordinated the Veterans Memorial Day Parade as well as the Flag Committee.

Barclay also spends time with the community's senior citizens, volunteering as a driver for the Hilton-Parma Senior Center, preparing taxes as an AARP member and helping to coordinate the June Strawberry Social.
