Parma Town
Clerk retires

Carol Kluth, Town of Parma Clerk, first elected in 1997, is retired officially as of June 2. Carol had worked at the Marine Midland Bank in Hilton as a teller and then an operations clerk for 14 years before being elected to her present position. She and husband, Richard, have three children and four grandchildren. When asked about what she liked about her being the Town Clerk she replied: "The relationship with the residents who come in and the wonderful relationship with the employees I work with." Carol and Richard will be spending more time with the family. They also have plans to travel and participate in stock car races; Richard drives a modified stock car and the children work on the car during races.
