Cater, Helen V., May 25, 2006 at age 91. Predeceased by her husband Henry. Loving mother of Douglas (Lisa) Cater of Hamlin; grandmother of Nicholas and Matthew Cater, Melinda (James)Wellington; several nieces and nephews.

BERGEN

Miller, Patricia Ann Ivison, 55, of Bergen, former 4-H leader and former operator and teacher of her own nursery school in Bergen, died May 30, 2006 at Lakeside Memorial Hospital, Brockport. She was born February 3, 1951, in Batavia, a daughter of Josephine M. Mogavero Ivison and the late Duane R. Ivison. Surviving, along with her mother, is her husband, Holden C. "Denny" Miller, whom she married October 15, 1973; five children, Nicole M. Miller of Bergen, Aimee D. (David) Miller Frederes of Rochester, Matthew Z. Miller, Emmanuelle V. Miller, and Holden D.P. Miller, all of Bergen; a brother, Daniel R. (Lynn M.) Ivison of South Byron; two sisters, Janet M. Casper of Bergen and Julie E. (Stephen) Ivison-Livero of Byron; a grandchild, Elaine Josephine Gburski of Hilton; and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Nathaniel B. Miller, sister of the late Brian R. Ivison and grand-mother of the late Aston David Frederes. She has been a member of St. Vincent dePaul Church, Churchville, since 1973, where she served as housekeeper for many years.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be said June 5 at 10 a.m. at St. Vincent dePaul Church, Churchville. Burial in Byron Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the family to be distributed among her favorite charities.


BROCKPORT

Beatty, Helen L., On May 25, 2006, at the age of 90. Predeceased by her husband, Frank H. Beatty. She is survived by her daughter, Diane (Norm) Frisch; grandson, Aaron (Julianna) Frisch; granddaughter Sarah Frisch; brother-in-law, Everett Beatty; sister-in-law Marge Hadfield; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services were held May 28 at the Fowler Funeral Home, Inc., Brockport. Interment, Lakeview Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the Brockport United Methodist Church or Lakeside Health System in her memory.


CLARENDON

Hammerick Sr., Charles A. "Chuck," age 85, died May 30, 2006 at his home. He was a mechanic at GE before retiring in 1984. Chuck was the first Fire Chief of the Clarendon Fire Company and also a Charter Member. He is survived by his wife, Irene, whom he married on December 20, 1941; two children, Charles (Cindy) Hammerick Jr. of Barre, Susan (Jeff) Long of Lancaster, Pennsylvania; son-in-law, Ray Coopenburg of Holley; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; four sisters-in-law. He was predeceased by a daughter, Bonnie Coopenburg.

A Graveside Service was held June 3 in Mount Albion Cemetery. Memorials can be made to Hospice of Orleans or the Clarendon Fire Department.


HAMLIN

Bauch, Leora J., On May 25, 2006. She is survived by her sons, Wayne (Sandy Sharp), Thomas (Julie); seven grandchildren, Christopher Howe, Jennifer, Aaron, Andrew, Kelly, Jason and Jeremy; great-grandchild, Casey; her sister, Alice Lautze; several nieces, nephews; and a very dear friend, Sandy Marks.

Funeral Services were held May 31 at the Fowler Funeral Home, Inc., Brockport. Interment, Lakeside Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the Western Monroe Historic Society (Morgan Manning House), 151 Main Street, Brockport 14420 in her memory.


HILTON

San George, Samuel R., May 27, 2006, after a courageous battle with cancer, at age 67. He is survived by his beloved wife, Bertalee; daughters, Kathleen (Joseph) Hinchcliffe, Laura (John) Crino of Maryland and Lisa (Jeffery) Wagner; grandchildren, Amy, Andrea, Jack, Maxwell, Lucy and Samuel Thomas; brothers, David San George of Tennessee and Donald San George of Dunkirk; nieces and nephews; and many dear friends. Sam was a retiree of Eastman Kodak Company.

A Funeral Mass was said May 31 at St. Mark's Church. Interment, Parma Union Cemetery. Contributions can be made to Lifetime Care Hospice, 89 Genesee Street, Rochester 14611 in his memory.


HOLLEY

Nenni, Carolyn M., Age 59, died May 26, 2006. Survived by her husband, Richard; sons, Richard (Vikki), Ronald (Sharon), Robert (Kayla); three grandchildren; brothers, John (Mae) Penna, Matt (Charlene) Penna; sisters, Joann (Richard) Aldrich and Kathleen (Francis) Gifaldi; aunt and uncle Bush; several nieces, nephews, godchildren and family pet Nala. Predeceased by brothers, Donald Penna and Jeremy Penna and by sister, Madelyn Henry.

A Mass of Christian Burial was said May 31 at St. Mary R. C. Church, Holley. Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery. Memorials can be made to St. Mary R. C. Church.


SPENCERPORT

•Smith, Richard E., May 25, 2006, at age 88. He was predeceased by his wife, Janet. He is survived by his sons Geoffrey (Shoshana) Hyatt-Smith of White Plains, and Gregory (Sue) Smith of West Henrietta; grandchildren, Rachel and Joshua Hyatt-Smith, Leisha Smith, Benjamin (Regina) Smith; great grandchildren Isaac and Samantha Smith; brothers George (Rita) Smith and Les (Pat) Smith; sisters Hester Smith and Lois Mills; several nieces and nephews. He was a retiree of Bausch & Lomb Company and was an Army veteran of WWII.
