Holley School District introduces Speaker's Bureau

Holley Central School is looking for individuals who are willing to share their experiences or expertise with students and staff. Students can greatly benefit from the experiences of community members, such as a soldier who has just returned from Iraq, or served in Viet Nam, visiting a social studies classroom; professionals in the health care field visiting science classes; or a town or board of education official visiting Participation in Government classes," said Superintendent Robert D'Angelo. A Speaker's Bureau Booklet containing the speakers' names and brief descriptions of their presentations will be made available to staff, so they can contact the various speakers to arrange for a classroom visit or large group presentation.

Anyone interested in sharing an experience or his or her expertise with Holley students and staff, or with questions about the Speaker's Bureau should contact the Holley District Office at 638-6316. To be included in the Speaker's Bureau, please contact the district by July 15 with name, a brief description of your presentation, and whether it is suited for elementary students, high school students or all students.
