Exploring careers

Students in Hilton's Merton Williams Middle School participated in workshops on careers at the school's annual "Career Speaker Days" in April. Sponsored by the faculty of the Family and Consumer Sciences Department, the speakers presented topics as diverse as professional athlete, Rochester Rhinos soccer forward Doug Miller; veterinary science, Dean Snyder, DVM; law and justice, Deputy Sheriff Charles Campanella; U.S. Bankruptcy Court Clerk, Paul Warren; and Attorney Patricia Gallaher; as well as representatives from the culinary, media, medical, education and sales professions.
