Chili Senior Center events

The Chili Senior Center has announced its upcoming events.

Blood Pressure Checks - Blood pressure checks being done Monday, July 17 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Defensive Driving - The next AARP driving course will be offered at the Chili Senior Center on September 19 and 22 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. You must attend both sessions. Cost is $10 per person. Register in advance.

Massage Therapy - The Chili Senior Center offers massages on the second and last Thursday of the month. Prices and times vary.

Red Wings vs. Ottawa and fireworks night. Friday, August 25. Depart Senior Center at 6 p.m. Game starts at 7:05. Cost is $10 each, includes ticket and transportation.

Ping Pong - Fridays from 2 to 4 p.m. for some table tennis. All are welcome. Free.

"Annie Get Your Gun" - Wednesday, July 26 in Little York, NY. Includes lunch at the Glen Loch Restaurant, followed by the matinee musical. Leave at 8:30 a.m. and return approximately 8 p.m. Cost is $62 per person (Chili resident).

Bowling fun - Friday, July 14 at Spencerport Lanes begins at 11 a.m. Two games of bowling and shoe rental $5. Sign up in advance at the Senior Center.

Summer picnic - Friday, July 28 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Center. Musical entertainment. Cost is $3.50 per person. Must register in advance.

Music by the shore - Thursday, August 17, it's Senior Day at Lake Ontario. Big Band music. Lunch and bus transport is $5 per person. Must register in advance.

Summer picnic - Friday, August 11, 9 a.m. at Union Station Lodge. Breakfast and early bird Bingo. (Bingo is additional cost.) Tickets are $3 per person. Must register in advance.

Tom Wahl's and summer music - Tuesday, August 29, 5 p.m. dinner (on your own) and listen to swing band music. Cost is $5 per person. Bring your own chair.

Mystery fun - Tuesday, July 18 at 2:30 p.m. $2 per person and must register in advance.

Grandma's Attic - The Senior Center will be accepting donations for its sale during the Chili Fest. No bowling balls, clothes, electronics or tires. Donations will be accepted until Wednesday, July 19.
