Six Brockport A.D. Oliver Middle School students were recognized during the eighth grade awards assembly on April 6. Cody Alvito and Robert Hanna received the Jeff Bell Award; Bianca Okafor and Jacob Gaskill received the Ray Zaffuto Award; and Ryan Goodell and Jeannie Galbraith received the Bill Hertweck Award. The Bell and Zaffuto award recipients were selected by the middle school teaching staff, based on academic achievement, citizenship and involvement in school activities. The Hertweck Award recipients were selected by the physical education staff based on their willingness to help when needed, having a cheerful and cooperative attitude and good sportsmanship both in and out of PE class.
